The current call for co editors can be found here.
Applications for the role of co-editor must be submitted as a set of two separate documents:
- An abstract (2,000 words) outlining their vision for the specific issue, including key thematic and methodological considerations.
- A brief CV, including: list of the applicant’s four most recent publications (preferably peer-reviewed), a record of the last five academic presentations given, and the applicant’s current academic position.
The editorial team of ephemer acknowledges the highly competitive nature of this process. To ensure transparency, we wish to outline the key criteria guiding our selection. The submitted abstract (reflection on the call’s theme) should demonstrate an original, theoretically rigorous, and historically informed approach while also engaging with current developments in both theory and practice.
We also wish to emphasize that, in cases of equally strong applications, we will explicitly take factors such as care responsibilities and disability into consideration.
